Julie Laurendeau

Member of l’Ordre des Acupuncteurs du Québec since 2005, Julie has more than 20 years of clinic experience. Throughout her career, she has worked in diverse settings and pursued advanced training in Chinese medicine to continually refine her skills and offer the highest quality of care. In 2019, she also participated in a humanitarian mission as an acupuncturist in Madagascar with the organization Worldwide Healthcare Initiative and HUMANITY MEDICAL MISSION.

With years of experience, Julie can effectively treats a wide range of conditions including pain and inflammation, anxiety, depression, insomnia, and seasonal allergies. She has also developed a special interest in women’s health. Julie completed a six-month internship in obstetric acupuncture at Lasalle Hospital, supporting women throughout pregnancy and childbirth in collaboration with obstetricians. Today, she continues to work with women facing fertility challenges, hormonal imbalances, and symptoms related to menopause, in addition to offering support during pregnancy and postpartum recovery.

 

Since the start of the pandemic, Julie has also contributed on the front lines, helping to vaccinate the population against COVID-19.

In addition, Julie also offers cosmetic acupuncture treatments, including facial acupuncture lifting. This gentle and natural approach promotes circulation, stimulates collagen production, and enhances the vitality of the skin, complementing her holistic approach to health.
